Cost of St. Louis Handle Replacement

Does anyone know how much it will cost to replace the handles of a St. Louis? I've had my bag for 8 years now and have noticed that the material (cork?) between the leather straps has a few cracks already, especially where the handle arcs. I just want to get an idea of how much I'll have to fork over.

And does anyone know how long it will take?

Thanks, but I don't have a boutique nearby. The nearest one from where I live requires a plane ride, so having this done requires a bit of advance planning from my end.
