How do the outlet cosmetic cases compare to the FP in size? I have an outlet Pac-Man case (17) that is causing my duffle to have issues closing. Are the FP ones any narrower?

I have seen a variety of sizes and shapes in Coach cosmetic bags, both MFF and FP but I think that you are likely to find more styles and size options among the FP items.

You can see 2 of my cosmetic bags in the pics below and they are both FP deletes that I bought at the outlet at reduced prices.

The pink and orange heart crossgrain cosmetic bag 52908 is a medium size and I use it for cosmetics. I don't like big cosmetic cases, they add weight and take up too much space.

The violet, jewel, cosmetic case 43309 is slim and I use it for coupons and miscellaneous papers.

I find that cosmetic cases are great for organizing your bag contents and they make it easy to quickly switch bags.

image.jpg Not sure whether this is the cosmetic bag you are mentioning. I personally no longer buy any product that's specifically made for outlet. I used to have several, but none of them lasted me longer than a year, the leather or canvas is thinner, the hardware is more easy to broken, i always end up having product issues. they are basically all made under lower budget and only worth the "reduced" outlet price.

I bought the coated canvas cosmetic bag from FP store when it's half off. When it's on sale, Basically similar price point with outlet, but with better quality. I find out the canvas is thicker than outlet version, the details and stitching is better made. I've been using it for over half year now, it has been hold up well. I chose canvas over the leather version because canvas is more durable. when putting in the bag, you don't have to worry about the scratches from your keys.

Some of the smaller Cosmetic Case 17 style are on sale at Coach.com right now for $52.50, see below, and with free shipping.

You might also want to take a look at Vera Bradley boutique cosmetic bags. They are nice quality, plastic-lined, moderately priced products, and they have a large selection of make-up bags in various sizes and styles.
