Correct pants length

Just curious - what would you say the correct pants length is with a pair of heels. Say it's a dressier pants that are wide at the bottoms.

how wide is wide? bootleg, bell, or extreme bell bottom? if it's bootleg, my preference is to hit the back of the pants hem about an inch up from the bottom of the heel. for the front, there should be a decent break.

Agreed. Especially not long enough to drag on the ground, because that looks sloppy when they drag, and it makes your pants all dirty.

I just hem my pants for flats, since i wear my flip flops all the time. They're not the ideal length for heels, but they don't look bad either. I would rather have pants that are a little too short for heels than pants that are too long for flats.

That's what I have. I have certain pants that I wear only with heels, and certain pants I wear only with flats. All of my work pants are hemmed to be worn with heels, because I do not wear flats to work. I have some jeans that I wear only with heels, and others only with flats.

i also do the double wardrobe thing. if i had a pair of dressier wide leg pants, i probably wouldn't see myself wearing flats with them very often.

Yeah, I have a sort of double-wardrobe too. I have long pants for heels and I have other pants that I can only wear with flats.

another vote for double wardrobe lol! I buy some for flats, others for heels, etc. But I do prefer pants to be barely touching the ground in heels.

I read that pants should be long enough so that only the tops of your shoes are visible.

^ Definitely, otherwise it looks like you don't have feet, but also, your pants get dirty when they drag.
