I bought some really neat copper or brass bangles today
But now im worried: is copper knosn to cause skin reactions or turn it green?
I have heard of copper turning the skin green. If I am not mistaken, it has to do with sweat meeting the metal and a chemical reaction. But like most metals, if you keep it clean and wipe it with a jewelry cloth, it should be okay. The copper could be treated to prevent this, I suppose it just depends on the quality as well. Copper jewely is huge right now....seen some pretty stuff.

Remember, the Statue of Liberty outer skin is copper, that's why she's green now. lol

I'm pretty sure you can buy brass/copper polish at a hardware shop, to keep it nice and shiny.
