In need of personal assistance. I am trying to pick out a color and hardware combination for my next bag, a Constance 18. I was asked for my selection, and I got blinded by the unlimited choices. I’ve narrowed it down to a neutral, gold hardware, and a color that flows between seasons. I love Craie and Nata, but i have those in my small collection. I‘m looking at gris pearl? but really i’m open to any suggestions. An elegant color that will look chic and fashionable, especially while traveling. Thank you tons. I’m all ears!!

No exotics, I’m an Epsom lover. But I don’t know this bag that well. Does it look great in other leathers such as evercolor or chèvre ?

Gris Perle is a nice colour, but I don’t believe it comes in Epsom or Chèvre Mysore. You could probably find it in Evercolor, though. If you want a grey shade in Epsom, maybe consider Graphite or Gris Meyer. If you want a grey shade in Evercolor (beside Gris Perle), you should consider Béton.

I refer to several Hermès colours as “demi-neutral”, since they are not traditionally neutral, but they sometimes act as neutrals in the context of Hermès. For Epsom, I would consider Bleu Saphir, Bleu Indigo, and possibly Rouge Grenat. For Evercolor, I would consider Bleu de Prusse. These are all options that I have seen fairly recently from Hermès, so you may still have luck finding them.
Of course, there has also been a recent surge in colours available for Box Calf, so that could be another leather to consider. Granted, Box Calf is only available via Push offer, but it may still be worth expressing interest to your SA if you are genuinely considering this leather.

Thank you for your expertise. I will do some research on the mentioned “neutrals”. The names alone sound so lovely. Now I must see the colors.

Hi what does push offer means? Thanks!

I love neutral colors…. Just got a Constance 18 (my first Constance) in black box leather in GHW and it looks nice… not sure if this is helpful … but in my humble opinion, can’t go wrong with black! Lol…
What do you all think about Epsom Constance etoupe w GHW? I’m thinking this is the ultimate neutral that will last me the rest of my life. I don’t have any etoupe in my collection. Black B30 and a black Constance 18, but no etoupe.

Thoughts?
