Constance 18 or Mini 2424 ?

Hello all,

I'm thinking to add a neutral warm toned bag to my collection for daily use. I narrow down to 2 choices either the Constance 18 in etoupe with RGHW or Mini 2424 gold with PHW, which bag model and colour do you think is more classic, versatile and easier to match? I haven't seen the mini 2424 in real life but i just love the understated design and that dreamy evergrain/swift combo in Gold colour. While on the other hand the etoupe and RGHW C18 is visually very pleasing but to be honest i don't have any experience with the colour etoupe at all lol #firstworldproblem

Since i don't have the purchase history in Hermes, i'm getting either bag from a reseller for a premium price. The bag cost an arm and a leg (especially the C18) so i fear of making the wrong decision Would truly appreciate your input.

Tough question. I like the Constance but do not like Epsom. Mini 24/24 is okay, albeit a more casual design.If I am not mistaken evergrain is a soft smooshy leather — am thinking of my massai cut that is either ever color or evergrain; I love the look and feel, kinda like swift too as far as smoother, buttery. I have to remind Myself to stop touching it. (Yes, it feels that wonderful.)

The Constance may be a more versatile style, so a vote for versatility, a vote for style; however etoupe is not a color that works with my skin tone. A wash because it works for a lot of folks. For the sake of being redundant, I really do not like Epsom.
(Blows my mind why H is using so much of it; it must be a cost thing.)

I vote for C18. Constance is a great back to transition from day to night imo. And i find etoupe goes well my skin & wardrobe.

It is true as @jmen about etoupe though. You need to confirm the color works for you, because it can go either way.

And if you are not in a rush, do consider swift/evercolor on C18 since usually they are priced lower in secondary market compared to epsom (less stiff too)

Hmm, yes that is tough. Personally, I like both gold and etoupe.

I don't like the Constance due to the big H logo. However, I do like epsom leather. (Personally I love bags with structure and with hard-wearing leather, because I just bang my bags around lol)

I think the 24/24 is adorable but I'm hesitant about it in swift leather, since I heard that's more delicate than togo and probably should be shielded from the rain/getting wet.

They are both pretty different bags, so I think you should go with what makes your heart sing more + what works best for your lifestyle and aesthetic.
