confusion about shooting star birkins!

I've read all of the threads about shooting star birkins but am still confused as to whether one can be brought to a Hermes store for a spa treatment. Can anyone help? Thanks so much!

as far as I know, it is a bag that will NOT be serviced by Hermes, because it is made by someone who worked at Hermes at some point!

Hermes craftspeople are able to make one bag per year for personal use or as a gift - they are marked with a shooting star. They are not supposed to be resold, which is why they won't service them.
