confused abt the leather

Hello all,
i'm a newbie. i wanna know how many types of calf leather are there available now in a Birkin?
anyone knows which is more expensive and the leather characteristic? vein/no vein/structure/smooth/slouchy/soft etc?

i find Togo a little slouchy for me. but i definately don't want a Box...so what can i go for? Epsom?VL (but VL is more ex right?how much more?) Fjord? and what else? i'm a bit confused reading all these names.

If you don't like slouch, you are better off with Epsom, Vache Ligee, or Fjord.
VL is almost 1K more for a Birkin. All three tend to maintain shape.
Fjord has natural graining. Epsom is embossed leather. Supposedly VL is natural grain, that is stretched.

Check the reference section under Leathers to see pictures of different bags in these leathers. Best option is to look at them in person to see which ones you like. I personally like all three, because I too like structure to my bags.
