Confused about diamonds

After reading pages of threads on diamonds I just need your opinions on choosing diamond studs and matching pendent!
I tried on .50tcw in my bottom hole with .10tcw in my second hole and can't go any bigger otherwise they would be too close together and look weird.
I know from reading that I'll definatly get the best cut possible.
I think I'm going to buy of Bluenile since it's the only site I can find that make that little studs.
I'm thinking about getting approx .25tcw pendent to match the earring size? I will have it on a 16inch chain and layer it with my white gold and diamond alex woo "m" that I wear on an 18inch chain.
I can't find where to get little studs online so I'll be buying them from a local jeweler. Since they will be in a 4 prong basket set I'm thinking I should do the same with the studs and the pendent.
Now I need your help with clarity and colour...
Im thinking VS1 or higher in clarity?
And I wasn't sure if I should go with D, E, F colour or will G, H, I be fine? Since I'm getting small sizes I thought I could afford to go with good quality but obviously less money the better because it means i get it sooner!
Any advice would be much appreciated!

You can probably get everything from briangavindiamonds.com. They have more than they show on their website and he has all his melee cut to ideal, so it could really take out the guess work for you.
I've dealt with them and they are wonderful. I have also ordered from Bluenile and am VERY happy with them as well.
As for your second question, With both the necklace and the earrings in that stone size you could easily do SI1 and be fine. Especially the earrings. For color you'll be fine with I or better as well. I have a H in my necklace and it is as white as could be.
Just some food for thought, I have the fixed bezel (or DBTY) style necklace from bluenile and I had a .16ct fixed bezel from Brian gavin. I love my bluenile one, and it always laid perfect until I started layering it, now the diamond is always an inch off to one side or another. If you are going to always layer you might not want a fixed diamond pendant. If it was in a normal bailed setting, it could always swing to center.

Thanks for the info.
I'll check out briangavindiamonds.com for sure.
For the pendent I was looking for something along like the souble-bail solitaire diamond pendent setting. I think I better try something similar on in person to see if it would work and not just an excuse to buy more diamonds.

The settings don't need to be the same. On a pendant I'd do a 4 prong basket or bezel so it lays flat, on earrings I'd do martinis.
I wouldn't go clearer than VS2 on any of them, but would also look for SI1. If it were me I'd be looking for I color ideal/excellent stones on all of it.

VS1 and D-G is probably overkill. I would say H I J colors and maybe VS2 max clarity. And SI1-2 even would be fine. No one is going to get close enough to your head or chest to see any inclusions.

I have martini earrings that I think are nicely nestled in my ear fat. My stones are about .16ct each, total .33ctw. But I don't wear anything in my 2nd or 3rd set anymore.
