Tory Burch Concierge Conundrum

I spent the better part of summer lusting after the Tory Burch Concierge Crossbody, an item from their SS 2014 Collection. My SA located it for me one day while I was there - one of the stock associates had just unboxed their latest shipment - however the issue was it was in Hudson Bay (navy) and I was looking for it in either burgundy or any neutral colour, hence I turned it down. A week later I get a phone call to say it had arrived in Dark Sahara, a "beige/nude/light pink". I was perfectly fine until I heard the word light pink as I'm definitely not girly nor would it go with my wardrobe. I ended up going to see it and as it was the last one I bought it and convinced myself it was nude, aware that I could return/exchange it within 30 days. Yesterday I got a call to say it had arrived in 3 colours, the 2 mentioned above again as well as in Black.

Here's where my "first world problem" gets tricky: every time I look at the bag in the colour I purchased I see light pink. On the other hand I have a few black SLGs including wristlets, wallets, and a crossbody, but none of them are THIS bag. I'm in love with the style and have no idea if it'll ever be available in gray or brown or burgundy. Do I just exchange for the black, which coincidentally matches my Robinson Double-Zip which I also use for travel or keep the Dark Sahara which is beautiful in its own right? Help!



TL;DR - Should I keep the colour above, exchange for black, or wait to see if it somehow finds itself at my local outlet in a different colour?

I think you should exchange for black. If I don't fall in love with something right away I usually never do and in the past this has led to numerous purchases going unused. At least if you get black then you know will use it. I'm in a similar boat. I love Hudson Bay but I am awash in navy TB products.

That's true, however I've seen it in so many colours online and they're all appealing. I need something in gray as well as a brown crossbody, hence those were my first choices.

Are you also looking at the same bag?
