I’m having breast tissue that is in my armpit area removed. It’s called axillary breast tissue. So the incisions will be very high up. Anyone have a brand of compression bra that seemed to cater to that? Or it went high up under the arms but didn’t rub you raw. Thanks.

My PS recommended light compression with sleeves. (I did wet lipo under the arms) I think spanx does one but so do a lot of Amazon brands. This looks tiny but it stretches; is relatively gentle; and isn’t super binding. (Nothing like the spanx hose lol). Your drs office should also have recommendations :) good luck :)

@LemonDrop , I meant, wet lipo suction under the armpit, essentially sounds like what you are having done…. :) At any rate, I would run it by your dr’s office to double check it’s what they have in mind !

Thanks. When I originally spoke with them they said “there are all sorts of compression bras on Amazon”. They all look so uncomfortable. I’m definitely going to look into that top. Thanks for the idea.

Agree with @880 best to ask your physician's office first.

I know someone in PT who works with patients who have had axillary lymph nodes removed from surgery.
I'll ask her for her recommendations on brands.
I did ask. They made it out like I could buy any old one on Amazon. But you know us TPFers. We like details and recommendations. I’ll call the office back and ask for better guidance.
