Hi!

I am looking for a pair of heels to wear for my wedding and want to get a pair of designer shoes. I haven't purchased any in the past and am hoping for some advice about which brands are more comfortable. I was thinking about getting a pair of pumps in a brighter color as a pop of color against the dress. Looked at Manolos or Saint Laurent so far..

Thank you for any advice! :)

Well, a thicker heel or wedge (even a skinny wedge that looks as thin as a stiletto from the back view) will always be more stable and easier to walk in than a skinny stiletto, particularly if you aren't used to wearing high heels regularly or have to be on your feet a long time or walk long distances. Having a platform (even a small one that isn't that noticeable) reduces the pitch if you want a taller shoe.

Comfort over anything is a must. My YSLs are definitely comfy and can wear them for hours at a time. Just got my first Manolos so haven't worn them out but they were comfy on the spot and it doesn't seem like they need to be broken in.

Congratulations :flowers:
I love Jimmy Choos, and find them comfortable and a easy to walk in for a day and night function. I’ve not strayed away from Jimmy Choos (beyond a cute pair of DvF sandals that I’ve just purchased, but not worn yet) so I cannot vouch for any other brand.
I do adore my Choos, I have 100mm pumps and 85 and 65 mm sandals.
My best advice is find the shoe that you love, and then wear them around your house a few times to break them in.
