Hey girls, so here she is. I love me some bling so the last 5 times I've been at the MK store this bag has been calling to me.

It's the Edie large tote (although I don't consider it a large bag by any means) in bronze.

Coach does this leather that I adore - it's a dusted suede/sparkle leather and I've been craving one for over a year but it's soooo delicate I just can't bring myself to do it. I actually bought one once and returned it a couple of days later because I was so scared of it. As well, they always seem to be lighter colors so color transfer is really an issue.

This MK bag is the same sort of leather except it feels like regular leather so you get the best of both worlds - the "sparkle" without the delicacy. I asked how they did it and the SA said it's got a ton of protection and coating on it to protect it, so it's not a delicate bag. And it's extremely light weight.

I love the silver hardware against the color, it's stunning. And the buckles are so cute. And TBH the pics don't pick up the sparkle in the leather nearly as much as in real life.

That's lovely! I haven't seen the bronze, I've only seen the gold. Love the sparkle and the silver hardware is a perfect contrast against the bronze.
I agree that it will be more "usable" without the worries of transfer. I love the coach sparkle bags too and have wanted one, but for the same reason you gave, they just are way too delicate. You don't want to be "afraid" of a handbag!

i used to have the madisin metallic hippie. loved the metallic bit sold it because i was too scared it would get damaged. I only used it like twice.:'(

Thanks everyone. I honestly have to stop buying for a while!! I bought a new Coach bag and wallet last weekend too. I only did this purchase because of the PCE but I'm so glad I did cause I just love it. :woot::yahoo:

Beautiful choice, Crissy :)! SO sparkly :)! How much was it? I took a look on the Web site, but I didn't see one in this colour with a single shorter strap. SO pretty!!

Here is a link to the closest one I could find - the sparkly bronze isn't on the website. The price is $398 and is on sale for $278 - the price here was also $398 and I got it for 25% off so $298 plus tax - pretty good deal for Canada!!

I think that's it. There are two bronze colors - one is more embossed - not python or anything but a different leather than the sparkle leather - I saw them both last night. But the picture does look the same as mine.

Crissy, I love this bag! The leather is super soft!

...and I think we have more than just MK in common. Is that your alpine white 1er? i LOVE the stripe on it!! i picked up an alpine white 3 a few months ago. that thing is true love.
