So, as Candice knows, I've been totally head over heals with having a coloured gemstone ring. I went into Tiffany's to take a look at the soleste in yellow diamond, and then saw the round soleste with an aquamarine! They have now come out with gemstone round solestes and they are just wonderful. The prices are also a lot lower when compared to the legacy gemstone rings. I've always wanted a legacy, but couldn't really stomach the price...

I was going to order a legacy inspired ring off ebay in the mean time, to satisfy my craving until I save up for the soleste, but I found this little gem at a store called Winners. (It's sort of like Marshals in the US). It's a ring by Effy. I've googled it and it looks like a brand that sells semi-precious jewelry. The ring is 14K with diamonds and an emerald cut peridot. It has what I call a twisted rope motif. Really gorgeous. It was marked down to $499 and I can return it if I change my mind, but its gorgeous and I think I'm keeping it.

So without further adieu......

neverenough, I have to be honest when I saw this thread I thought you had bought that aqua ring!

I love love love this, I am a huge fan of twisted rope like gold. Effy makes really gorgeous jewellery, they have this one ring and its a leopard made out of white and black diamonds with emerald eyes :hbeat::hbeat:
Effy is also New York based, and i'm pretty sure not 100% thought but I think they make their jewellery in NY as well.

I was born in April, but my father, who passed away due to cancer when I was 23, was born in August. I knew that was his birthstone, so that was also in the back of my mind when I bought this ring. I kind of like the idea that it's this birthstone, and it reminds me of him whenever I look down.

Hee, hee...I knew you were going to think that! I'm going to be good and save....maybe they will come out with even more gem stones in the soleste by the time I save up.

I googled Effy, and they have amazing jewelry! I love the leopard rings! It actually makes me feel good that it's made in NY. You can really see the workmanship and quality of the ring. I love how it combined the white diamonds and yellow gold. Sort of like a two tone ring.
