Colour help please!

Hi ladies! I know you’ll understand my dilemma.

Deciding between the black or red Emily bag.

For reference I have

Red: Ysl belle de jour clutch
Black: givenchy nightingale and Prada saffiano tote

In my collection.

I wanted to use it often but it’s not necessarily an every day bag.

I usually prefer red to black and Gucci bags are the perfect shade of red. Having said that I think that this particular bag looks better in black. Emily bag has many beautiful details and more subtle color complements these details in a more elegant way.

Red! You already have two black bags that can be used often. Your only red bag is a clutch which has its limitations.

I think black looks better in this bag. It adds elegance. Since there’s a lot going on with this bag, red would make it too busy. In general, I love Gucci red though.
