Michael Kors Colorful MK bags- maintenance

Hello,

I am new to this forum. I have never been a fan of MK ( LV girl) but lately I have found myself drawn to the beautiful colors. Have any of you experienced difficulties maintaining your bags? Do the colors fade? Do you have color transfer? etc. Do you recommend any of the MK sprays, cleaners etc? I just purchased a bag in dusty rose for next spring and it is my first bright colored bag and I am so afraid of ruining it. Any suggestions?

I have a dusty rose medium Selma stud that I used all spring into summer and it wore just fine. Didn’t do anything to it. No transfer whatsoever. I expect to use it again at the end of winter. Maybe some fall use too.

If the MK bag is made of saffiano leather, you won't have any problems with the color. I own several saffiano leather Selmas, a couple Hamiltons and a Sutton. They are all different colors. I haven't had any problems with fading or color transfer.

I haven't had any problems of fading or color transfer with any of my leather MK's but I don't own any real light bags like white, blush, pale pink, or creams.
