Color transfer question

It probably depends on the color as well. For instance, I have an iridescent lambskin and thankfully no color transfer. On the other hand, my red caviar has had some color trasfer from my jeans. Both in mini size.

My beige claire caviar jumbo has no problem with color transfer but I don't use it with new dark tshirts or jeans! I also have a white 19 and this too no color transfer! I've use it daily for more than a week (grey coat, beige coat, I have to try with the black one)

I have a seasonal caviar carmel color bag that gets color transfer with jeans, especially around the piping on the back pocket. However it comes off easily with the apple brand leather cleaner. I just make sure to clean it as soon as possible at the end of the day.

Agreed about the piping on the back pocket. That seems to be the main area, but like you, I have found it easy to remove.

This has happened to me a bit on seasonal colors of caviar, but it either hasn't happened on my black bags or is so unnoticeable on the black that I haven't seen it.

I had color transfer on both lambskin and caviar. Caviar is way easier to clean. Cleaning color transfer off light colored classic flap lambskin was an absolute nightmare. For that reason I stay away from classic flaps in light colored lambskin.

Another good tip is to use a protective spray. I never used it on light colored lambskin of classic flap, but I have used it on pretty light grey and caramel Chanel 22 and so far had no color transfer or dirt issues with either of bags (and I use bags without babying). The only thing is that I heard that some of this sprays can make white leather yellow (I do not know if it was time, climate or spray that did this as I had white 19 bag become a tiny bit yellow after 1 year, but it could also have been in my head as others did not think that it turned yellow). I used Vectra spray on all of my bags and light sneakers with great success.
