color transfer on canvas- NEED HELP

I have the medium sukey and within a month of so of owning it, my jeans started causing some color transfer on the fabric. It didnt get that bad until recently when i started wearing a red coat, and now this is transferring terribly! What do you guys suggest to avoid this? any treatment i can put on the bag? Any reccomendations on how to clean it (besides having gucci do it for 150?) PLEASE HELP

I JUST asked the manager at the Charleston store about cleaning the canvas. He said Woolite or a clear detergent and a very soft cloth. He did say that is only for spot cleaning and stains, so I would be careful if it is a large area.
