Color opinion on Birkins

Ladies,
I am trying to decide what color Birkin to purchase as my first Birkin--the major colors I wear are black and browns, with some navys/greys.

I like both Rouge H and Gold.

Question: for the women who have handbags in gold or rouge H, what is your experience? Do you find your purchased color to be flexible enough to wear with most things? What would be your next purchase color?

I do not think you can go wrong with either gold or rouge H. I find gold to be a bit more casual than rouge H.
Also gold usually has white stitching which gives it a casual look.

I agry with golconda, both is nice, especially with Birkin bag what ever out fit you wear will look great. Sometime I wear all black,and wear my orange birkin to lighten up my outfit...

Keep in mind that the same color on different leathers looks different. I have a rouge h bag in chamonix and it is quite deep; my sister had the same color in chevre coromondol (sp?) and in some lights it was pinker--a little brighter. Maybe people can chime in on how the two colors appear. My personal preference are rouge h in chamonix or box, and gold in togo or clemence. Ideas?

I have a gold Birkin and wear it with everything. I feel rouge might be a "dressier" color and think of it more as a color to carry in cooler weather.

Both are very classic colors but please do try it out just to make sure~~ I have always loved gold but when I got the chance to try it out in the boutique, I am sorry to say I make the bag look bad But Rouge H was !!

^^ Gold does not suit me too...but I have a Rouge H Lindy in Swift and I love it a lot ...It matches most of the outfits I have...I have lots of dark colored clothing too .
