Hi everyone,
I’m seeking ideas for best colors that fall into the following categories:
1) pop of color and fun but not NEON (example would be Rose Jaipur to me looks NEON in person)
2) saturated in Togo and in swift
3) elegant and neutral but…a nice color that would go with jewel tones and black. Pop of color easily worn in the winter. A bit less predictable than red.
here’s a color I love and I’m wondering which H shade matches it? Cuvier? terre Battue?? TIA for your help!

I agree Rose Jaipur is neon. Got a leather CDC in it when it came out.

There's a dark green called "English Garden." Came out around the time that RJ came out. The EG's purse time has probably long passed, but it is a pleasant dark green and would be different from a blue or red as a neutral. It would be a color to look for.

Is the color of the sofa, burnt orange is what I would call it, the one you want a bag in? There's a lot medium-orangey squash colors around in apparel so I'm quite sure that some orange bags (in orange with an undertone of caramel) will surface fairly soon.

I was offered a Feu bag decades ago. It was in a bigger size than I wanted. SA kept urging me to get it as it was "more bag." But I turned him down and requested he get a K in toundra. I got the bag and liked it, it's a medium to medium-dark khaki (haven't looked at it in a while, it's packed away). My hair then was light brown and my coloring goes well with olives. As soon as I held the bag the SA agreed that toundra was better for me. It's an earthy tone. Feu was overpowering for my coloring. At that time I feel I fell into a "Soft Autumn" or "Muted Autumn" in a color classification from the book, Color me Beautiful.

I don't think I'd take the Feu if fate offered me another but since my hair started graying I decided colors with a yellow undertone were good for me. As someone once said, "They brighten me up." (Geez, maybe I'm a whole lot more muted than I thought :) ). So I got a lime kelly and closet is full of yellow, aquas, coral, chartreuse and for fall, teal clothing. The brighter colors compensated in my eyes for gray-brown hair. My coloring changed such that I felt comfortable wearing a very vivid yellow or coral.

This is probably more information than you want, but the bottom line is that Feu is a stunning orange with a dash of red (in whatever leather the bag I was shown was) but it's an attention getter. I think it's a more wearable color than neons for most people simply because there is something basic about a strong orangey red.

I hope this makes sense. What do you think of Feu? I have to look up bleu Poitron, the only blue bag I have is a dark teal, a kelly in Prussian Bleu which has been well used by me and needs a spa.

Years ago, I wanted to get a K in Kraft (a color mix of craft paper and to me, peanut butter) but could not afford it then. I don't think Kraft was a popular color.

thank you for this! i completely understand. feu seems like a non-neon pop of color which is what i think i may be looking for. is it classic? potiron is a pumpkin.

Poitron sounds beautiful. Do you have a picture of it? Hardly anyone would have a bag in such a rare beautiful color as Poitron. I would get one if I could b/c I see orange, burnt orange, as a coming color. You will be ahead of the curve with Poitron.

With either Feu or Potiron you can't go wrong. Depending on your wardrobe, whether it has red or not, Feu would probably be more useful. But Potiron would be really special, it would be (I'm guessing) a rarer color than Feu.
