Hi everyone, I have a dilemma regarding a Cargo Picotin 18.
I am more a gold hardware girl but I really like the bleu nuit color on canvas. (an no bleu nuit with gold hardware available of course...)
Need your help for sure :angel:

I would not compromise on hw. i prefer navy to black personally. Navy canvas with gold would still look sporty and somewhat nautical. I think black and gold is a bit too formal for a canvas pico. I have navy with phw, but I am a phw person. Agree with the advice to wait

Not sure it exists yet. But unless you feel comfortable with PHW and possibly mixing HW, I would pass. IMO the GHW completely transforms the canvas. If you can try one out IRL, I think you would immediately know

As all my H bags are with GHW, I told myself that maybe it will change to have one with Palladium. Especially that there is not much hardware on the picotin except the padlock...But as I said, I'm a gold person.
What do you mean by GHW transforms the canvas ?

I stated in my post above the one you reference my opinion that black with GHW seems formal for a casual bag like a canvas pico. I think canvas is more casual, and PHW is casual, but you should get whatever you would like that best suits your taste :smile:

i am the opposite. I’ve been a PHW person for years, and for many years, I rehomed great bags with GHW because they made me feel too formal. Just last year, I bought a GHW bag for the first time since maybe2009 that I like and will keep. It happens to be a dressier bag, a 25K sellier Bleu Orage.
