College Medium vs Classic Large Monogram

I got the classic large monogram in earth (that is grey in colour) for almost a year now and I absolutely adore it. It is chic, fits the essentials e.g. Wallet/ card holder, iPhone 7+, small makeup pouch, external charger, a note pad and an iPad. However, after a few uses, I do notice the corners appear to be slightly worn off. It doesn't bother me that much cuz it may be me for not being careful in the packed public transport. Overall I think the bag do hold up well and I always get compliments about it. I can't say enough how much I love it.
The classic large is dressier. I have the college in large (colour is dove) so not what you're after but I absolutely love it. If you're hesitating between these bag, you'll probably end up getting both. That's usually what happens to me when I'm torn between 2 somewhat similar styles...
Are the large monogram one available in silver hardware with just the Chevron quilting? I can not find one anywhere.
My suggestion would depend on what you’re looking for in the bag, but I think the College looks cooler.
I have the large envelope and I love it. It’s so structured. The college is lovely too and imo it depends on what you are looking for. Envelope is more dressy
