Coin purse and porte monnaie - what is the difference?

Hello ladies! I've been considering buying a coin purse. Can someone explain to me the difference between a coin purse and a porte monnaie? The porte monnaie dimensions are described on the Bal website as 5.5x4x.5, which is what I would guess are the dimensions for the coin purse, but the cp dimensions are not listed on the website. I'm so confused! Are they the same size? What is the difference, aside from slight differences in appearance?

I wish I could tell you but I'm confused about the same thing. x I want to give the customer as much information as I can and I don't want to seem like an uneducated person who doesn't know what they're talking about. My wallet/coin purse/porte monnaie is not 5.5 in height and is probably a little less than 4 inches in length. So that doesn't fit the standards of a porte monnaie. I want to know what the correct name is for my buyers. I'm going to post a picture of it so maybe someone can identify it for me. Well, here is the picture below.

The wallet/coin purse is supposed to have leather tassels on the hardware but after using it for 6 years they became warned out and came off....
