Hi lovelies, I am at a point of curating my bag collection, ideally to reduce the number of bags I own and retain only the pieces that I love most.

I have a few small bags in my collection and for some reason, I am gravitating towards roomier bags now. I have the small coco handle in iridescent pearl caviar which is really cute but I find a bit fussy to use. Yes, it can carry my essentials but it’s a fickle to take things in and out due to small space. In addition, I find it a bit difficult to match the color with my wardrobe so I am not reaching for it as much.

I’ve recently tried a Reissue 226 and I love the size, just right for my frame at 155cm and average build plus it’s roomier so I can take my things in and out without a fuss. I have limited funds so I am thinking of selling the coco handle to fund the reissue.

Here’s the coco handle i would like to sell:

Here’s the preloved Reissue I am eyeing:

If you were in my shoes, would you sell the Coco Handle to get the Reissue 226?

Usually, I would say that if there is a bag you are not using, it makes sense to sell it and replace with something else on your wish list. I have a medium-sized Coco Handle and am happy with the size. I tried the smaller size in the store as well, and though it's very cute, I like having more room for my essentials, so I can understand the challenges of trying to make a smaller capacity work for you. The 226 Reissue is a classic and is a great size as well. So in this case, I would say sell -- except for one reason. Your Coco Handle is so very pretty and the color is beautiful. Solely in terms of aesthetics, in comparing the two bags you have posted, I prefer the Coco Handle. I don't know that I was of much help! Good luck with your decision.

Thanks for the inputs, hun! I know, the Coco Handle is such a beauty it’s not an easy decision. I have a two week holiday coming up, I’ll use that time to reflect and hopefully have a firm decision when I get back.

I think you gave a few reasons to let the coco handle go. 1) its a little small and fussy to use 2) its a difficult color to match your clothes. If you think you will use the reissue more then go for it. Why let a beautiful handbag sit in a closet. Plus, I think I've also heard from people that Chanel can't repair wear on iridescent caviar. Not sure if that is true or not.

Personally, I find the reissue 226 a great size and offers flexibility to wear on the shoulder or crossbody. The red chevron reissue is beautiful.

226 size is more than perfect. A good between-size of medium CF and jumbo. I use my 226 reissue a lot.

You like red bag with GHW? If so, go for it!

For the CCH, it’s really pretty but yea they are quite a pain to use. This cch has too many things going on for a small bag. And I feel such shape doesn’t work for me anymore (smaller top, wider bottom ). To me, not very ergonomic. Similarly to my Fendi mini peekaboo. One of my least used. Apparently I’ve sold all my CCHs too.
