What I like about this bag is the soft squishiness of it. So you can grab it like a clutch and just let the handle fall to the side, and then when it’s inconvenient to carry a clutch (e.g.during a standing cocktail hour when you’re trying to balance a drink and eat hors d’oeuvres) you can slip it on your shoulder. You can also hang it on the back of your seat and not wonder if it’s being stepped on or if it’s going to slide off your lap.
By the way you carry it, you can make this little bag a convertible from clutch when you need to make an entrance and have your first greetings, to a shoulder carry when everyone is looser and you feel need to get it out-of-the-way. It’ll work fine. Just MHO.
