I have been looking at the Cobble Hill Gina bag. I believe it's only available at Nordstrom. It's $378. I am clueless on Kate Spade. Is this a good price? Does Nordstrom have clearance online? I just don't want to buy it full price today if you ladies have any insight on it. Price or quality wise. Thanks.

I am unfamiliar with this bag. It does say it is a new arrival when looking at the list of Nordstrom Kate Spade items. Kate Spade doesnt release all its items to the same places at the same time. So the bag might show up at other places in the next month or get some reviews. Nordstrom typically marks its bags down. But that would be 2, more like, 3 months if it is brand new to the store. Nordstrom also price matches when another store does 20-25% off the same item.
This is a slightly higher priced purse for KS, probably due to its size. The Cobble Hill line is pretty popular with its pebbled leather. KS has other more expensive lines with more exotic leathers and design touches.

great insight to both KS and Nordstroms. I want it right now but just felt uncomfortable with the $378 price point. Unfortunately I think with KS putting all her products in TJ Maxx and outlets and the over saturation she's going to go the way of MKors. Very few willing to pay full price.

But, unless KS starts making logo print bags, I dont see the same fate of brand oversaturation like MK or Coach. KS has so many different bag designs and prints, it keeps fresh. 
Plus, there are some people that will not buy something unless they think it is a sale. Places like the outlet and TJ Maxx are designed to create that feeling of finding an amazing sale. Whether or not it really is a great sale is debatable. But KS is able to sell to people who otherwise wouldnt buy their stuff. Full price is an arbitrary number that always can be raised without expectation of selling for that price. KS current business model may only expect to sell items at their sale price point.
Do be aware that items sell out on Nordstroms website. But there will likely be some sales leading into the 4th of July holiday so it might be worth waiting to see.

Did you ever get this bag? I'm eyeing it in the Grey Hare color. Would love to know how you like it, how much it fits (laptop?) and how its held up?

I use it about 6-8 days a month. I have been using since July. My use is hard. I travel with her internationally. However I am careful with her. She has only one very light surface scratch. I did use a leather conditioner on her. Brand Leather Nova purchased on Amazon. I pack her heavy too and the handles are still strong and no unraveling, pulling etc.... I am very pleased with the bag.
Thanks! Does she fit a computer? Have a macbook pro. Also would need to carry wallet, keys, cellphone, makeup pouch, files, scarf, and umbrella. Any thoughts on whether this bag could accommodate all that?
Hi again. So I took 2 photos. Hope they help. I don't have a laptop or MacBook so I put 3 magazines in it. I hope this gives you a standard size for comparison reasons. So this is the bag with 3 magazines, car keys, iPhone 6s, LV small cosmetic pouch, wallet and jumbo hairspray (which I put in place of umbrella) in one pic I put a small leightweight scarf. Second pic a big bulky winter scarf. I could easily zip her like this and she still looked fat and slouchy. Hope this helps.
