Coach x Colette (backorder help?)

I ordered the chenille stickers and received an e-mail saying they are backordered. I remember some of you have had experiences with a backorder - are there ever times where you actually don't get the item?

I wanted them so bad and the chat specialist said she didn't see a restock but when I called Customer Service she said they are stocked but haven't been released to ship yet...?

Anyone know any other info? Thank you.

I ordered the same items! My order also said backorder for two days and finally yesterday said "shipped from store" my order is coming from the Soho store in New York. If you really want these, I would call that store and see if they have more in stock, maybe they can ship your order (?) or help you get this item.

I have in the past had items backorder and only once have I had an order cancelled.

Yes, definitely call a store. If they don't have a set, they should be able to tell you which store does have them and even how you can order a set from that store. Good luck! Oh, and as far as backorders goes, Coach is pretty good at them for the most part, but the Mickey parts hang tags backorders were supposed to ship in September......haven't seen them yet......

Thank you for your help and responses, you guys! I just called a local store and they didn't have it (which I knew) but she placed an order for me which I *think* means it's going to come from another store. I ordered two just in case... I told her about the fact that I ordered it online first and it's backordered so I hope she did something different than just a coach.com order.

I was thinking of the jacket too. While at the doctors office I saw an article on putting patches on purses, thinking of trying that, I'm not sure what I will do, they are so freakin cute!

I have noticed that when they ship from a store you don't get notified via email. About the only way you know is like you did, check your credit card or PayPal account and see if they took payment for said item.

Haha this reminded me that I had ordered the Mickey parts as well. I totally forgot since nothing came of it...

I just got notice from UPS that I have a package coming tomorrow from Coach SOHO....so apparently my rainbow Rexy is going to be a 'New Yawker' Rexy. :lol: Sign up with UPS and you can get notices when packages are being delivered to you....it comes in handy. :tup:

I just picked up the stickers and a small rainbow Wooly at the SOHO store Tuesday. They only sell 1941 items in the store. My Rainbow Rexy came from there as well. Here is Wooly. I didn't even know he existed. Sorry about bad lighting. He has the same colors as Rexy.
