Does anyone have any of the new woven leather items that are new on the website? I really love the large hobo but feel over 1k is a lot of money and am wondering if anyone has one? It has a woven Indian pattern on it and is so beautiful - I have been away from Coach for a long time but his bag is just so beautiful....

I have the dreamweaver mini duffle, but IMO it doesn't look anywhere near the $695 price. It's nice in that it comes with the feather fob, and the bottom of the bag is also woven, and it's all tightly woven, but I just don't think the leather is nice enough to warrant the price tag. However, I got mine during the last "PCE that wasn't a PCE" event, so it was 30% off at least. 😃 I like it enough to keep it, I guess, but I almost returned it.

I saw the Dreamweaver Mini Duffle recently at my Coach FP boutique, and while it is a pretty, though small bag, it is not worth the $695 price tag. The tribal duffles are seriously Overpriced, IMO.

Ditto! I was actually really disappointed in the quality of the leather, given the prices that they're charging. Two years ago, those bags would have been at least a couple hundred dollars less!

I just purchased the large duffle yesterday. I think it's beautiful and don't have an issue with the quality of the leather used. It is thinner than the leather on some of the bags but in order to weave the pattern, I doubt they could have used a thicker leather and achieved the same result. I too have been away from Coach for some time now. This is the piece that brought me back. I guess compared to the price of some of the bags I have purchased over the last couple of years, it didn't seem that bad. All designers have raised their prices over that time period, some more than others.

I must be in the minority, because I thought the woven duffle was gorgeous and really great quality. Considering it is actually completely hand woven, the price tag doesn't seem that bad to me, but maybe thats just me?

Congrats on your bag! I think it's gorgeous, I haven't been to the store to see it IRL but I'm sure I'll be wishing for it when I do!
