I know this seller is reputable when it comes to LV but this is a really obvious fake Coach.

Reporting fakes from Japanese sellers is an exercise in futility.

If anyone knows her and wants to advise, feel free.

BTW, this is in her listings and rather ironic:

[FONT=Geneva, Arial, Helvetica, san-serif]eLADY, based in Tokyo, Japan, is a member of the International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition, and a pioneering provider of patent-pending anti-counterfeiting solutions for luxury brand goods., under its
bc_logo.gif
brand.

ETA: This is another Korean fake:

I'm always reluctant to ASQ a seller if it's not about a possible purchase. Ebay considers it "misuse of the messaging system" to tell a seller that an item is fake. Ebay wants us to use the "report" button.

I am amazed! I did not know they sold fake Coach bags.

Yes I understand, I meant "they" as in e-lady, not the general public :graucho:
I don't believe they knowingly list items that are counterfeit but clearly, one or more of the following apply:
1. They aren't verifying their items' authenticity prior to listing
2. If they use an in-house expert, the expert isn't expert
3. If they are using a professional authentication service, they aren't using one with expertise in the brands (in this case, Coach)

I've found that reporting listings from sellers in Japan (and not only elady01) tends to be an exercise in futility. In the few cases where listings were ended, it's because their account managers were contacted by ebay, given a heads-up and the sellers were told to end the listings.

It's extremely rare that ebay will remove listings for counterfeit items from Japanese sellers and in my experience, I have yet to see an Japanese seller naru'ed.

The fact is that every seller is obligated to know and/or verify items are authentic before selling. And this applies whether online, B&M, new items, charity thrifts or even garage sales.

Agreed there is no excuse for selling a fake. Zero. And especially if you're a pro seller, even more so the case.
