I have been using my Coach Isabelle for the past week and I am starting to not like it. I don't like the folded opening. It looks like it was rushed in the making. And when the bag slouches, this folded opening does not look attractive at all. It's weird looking. It's so plain. The opening is narrow and I hate digging in for my stuff.
Anyway, I am still keeping it because the color Magenta is gorgeous and a unique Coach color.

DO YOU GUYS HAVE ANY COACH REGRET BUYS?

I have to order sight unseen these days because I live over an hour from a FP store and have two little girls. So I've returned a lot of regretted bags. Either returned or sold. I'm trying to stop doing that by not being impulsive and researching here on TPF first.

Here are just a few:

Mahogany Eva: loved everything about it except the difficult closure. Total dealbreaker.
archival bucket: awkward opening, shoulder strap too thin and too short.
Pinnacle haircalf flap clutch: didn't like color and preferred zip on legacy large clutch

Usually it's a usability issue that makes me regret a bag purchase. If it's annoying to use, doesn't matter how beautiful it is.

I have a few bags I bought and held on to. Started using them in thr past few months and found I did not like the way they sat or their size.

I fall for Patchwork and suede. I used a Modaic Duffle for a while and had too much trouble finding my stuff in it. The shoulder bags are ok but I don't like how they sit. The gallery totes seem too crowded. The Ergo totes in leather seem floppy. The Lily kind of hangs unless stuffed full. I could go on and on...

I bought a Peyton flap satchel and paid FP--this was before we had a boutique here, so I shopped at Dillard's and Macy's or on coach.com as a last resort (and was not receiving coupons yet).

The design was super cute on the outside. The interior was awesome--3 or 4 compartments in a cute polka dot lining. However, the single handle was attached to the flap, and opening it while holding it on my arm was very awkward. It was my first satchel, and I did like how it carried in the crook of my arm. I just didn't like how I always had to set it down to open it and get something out. It's been retired to my closet for a few years.

the inlaid brooke in plum from a few years back. Its really pretty to look at
but the bag is stiff and the handle digs into my shoulders. Selling back isnt
an option for me for all kinds of reasons so its been sitting in my closet all lonely :-(

I bought a Heritage Stripe Satchel from the FP store - not sure if I even used a PCE for it - carried it for a couple weeks & then realized I didn't like the PVC coated canvas or the Signature print, or the two separate zip compartments... not to mention, my mom used to jokingly call it a "cat carrier" because it was so big & rectangular...

This. I totally agree... Isn't it frustrating? There's quite a few bags that are just gorgeous to look at, but painful to carry. Shame we couldn't decorate our houses with purses LOL

Why not sell it on eBay? :)

Didn't Snooki have this bag?

I bought a sophia and i go back a forth about it. It's cute bag on smaller women, but at 5'6" I sometimes feel it looks tiny on me (and that's not very tall at all). I love the functionality though. And the way it slouches with the shoulder strap--i go back and forth on that too. Sometimes i like it, sometimes i think it looks goofy. Its much cuter held as satchel.

Yes... http://www3.images.coolspotters.com...coach-heritage-stripe-zip-satchel-gallery.jpg

The Coach heritage stripe satchel was my very first Coach bag, so there is definitely still a place in my heart for it! I have the pink one.

However, I did buy a heritage stripe hobo in green on impulse, and decided I definitely did not need TWO siggy heritage striped Coach bags, lol, so I sold that one. It was way too bright of a green color for me and I realized I really only liked the pink one.

I still really do love my pink heritage stripe satchel! :smile1:

My regret is purchasing a Juliette. I wanted to give the bag a try and branch out from my Sophias. It is a very nice leather design but it is not working for me. The strap is too long but when I double it I hate how it looks at rest.
Like a dog with his head cocked to the side with one ear up when he hears something!!:roflmfao: The top edges of the bag also look a bit sloppy and unfinished to me.
I was conflicted so I left the tags on but she is going back.
