Coach Parker or Tory Burch Fleming?

Hi all,
I've been wanting a quilted leather bag with chain strap, but not a Chanel (want to stay under $1k). I bought the Tory Burch Fleming in distressed black leather but haven't taken her out yet. The size is fine but I'm not sure I'm going to like the size/weight of the chain straps. Another TPFer pointed out the Coach Parker as an alternative, so I'm considering that one as another option. Size wise, either will work. My style runs from creative professional to casual, and I'd like this bag to be able to go either way. And...I prefer silver or gunmetal hardware over gold. So, TPFers, what do you say? Or do you have another suggestion?

The coach Parker in this case. That bag is one of the best design coach came out recently & I especially like the one in black.

When I tried it on in store, the Coach Parker was too short for crossbody wear. I was wearing a winter coat, so that may have affected it, but that is something to consider.
