So.... Has anyone seen the Coach Willis bags? I heard Coach will be putting out some more bags with the classic Coach look. I am intrigued, though I have not had a chance to see them in person yet. Apparently someone at Coach noticed that the classic bags on the secondary market were going up in price.

I love all the Willis stuff, vintage and new Poppy Willis!. They certainly ARE making a comeback. A few of the old classics have been on Coach for a while, and there are some beautiful bags coming out in the fall if you like the look of the old leather bags. Its getting harder and harder to find affordable USA made old bags at thrift shops too. They've wised up and are marking bags up to near ridiculous prices for beat up old bags. Thankfully, those old beat up, sad looking dried out Coaches often can be fixed back up and look beautiful again.

Really? There are tons of threads about the "new" Willis, which has been out for about a year.

Coach does seem to be going back to their roots as far as style. Quality though? Forget it! There seems to be a lot of issues with quality lately. Ive been having issues with my patent bag, as have a few other tpfers. And we've all been commiserating about damaged bags being shipped to us. So far I've seen a few bags from the legacy line and they're looking good, but time will tell if they're really a step in the right direction.

Yes, and as anything, if you wait long enough, everything comes back. LOL

I love the older vintage bags and will be satisfied with them unless a particular bag calls out to me.

No, we haven't ALL been receiving damaged bags. I have never had a single issue with any of my Coach items, except one pre-owned with some missing hardware that I am certain was the first owner's issue - but Coach fixed it for me for free.

Coach's customer service is still pretty much the best there is. As long as they continue to allow generous return policies they will constantly be aware of the problems that some of of the tpf'ers have had with bags, and one would hope that is what keeps them on task for the most part, and any issues with leather, packaging, etc will be addressed.

I have been happy with the quality of both my vintage bags and my new bags from Coach.

The return policy and customer service of coach is why I keep buying their products. I'm not happy to hear that anyone has quality issues but at least they are rectified. I had a good experience returning my troublesome patent bag. I still love coach despite the issues they've been having lately. I would like to see more of a return to their wonderfully crafted leathers though. I love me some thick leather that can take a beating.
