I broke down and visited my closest Factory Outlet today, in St. Augustine FL. I have been locked out of their website for several months, when I call to find out why, they lie to me and tell me there is no sale going on, when I know there is because my co-worker showed me her email! Anyway, I loved the new Colette carryall and was eyeing the black and red one. My bag of choice is Small Phoebe and I have about 6 of them. The S/A talked me into buying both and she said "Don't worry, if you get home and you don't like it, you have 60 days to return it." I said, "Wow the last time I bought here there was no limit on time of returns." Her reply was that they were now offering similar return policies as there competitors. I think that's fair, 60 days is enough time to know if you like something or not. I came home, excited about my new bags ($167 each) and I transferred all my stuff from the Phoebe I was carrying. I don't own any "handbag" types, only shoulder bags and I don't like to use the long leash, I think it looks funny.. well, after walking around my house with it for about 20 min. I realized it's much too heavy, much more than the small Phoebe with all my stuff in it and it just didn't "feel" right. So knowing I would not be using this much I just couldn't justify spending the $ and returned same day. They tried to talk me into buying something else but there isn't anything else that I want right now. Their bags are either too big or too small for me. I like MED. size. So they returned and gave me my money back but I just wanted you all to be aware of the new policy. 60 days!
Whew! Thanks Whateve. It's just a couple of wristlets and a watch but all added up, it's a nice chunk of money to put toward something I like better.
