Does anyone know about the Hawaii exclusive Coach purses. They are like "swingpacks," having long straps for cross-body wear. They had two styles, and I almost bought one two weeks ago in Maui. I didn't like the color in the style I liked... should have looked on Oahu last week, but didn't get the chance.

I have the file bag in black. I saw it in Waikiki in May. Style #11696. Here's the drilldown photo:

I got it by calling JAX. It was $70 less than Hawaii price. It is approx 10x10x1. It is much bigger than a swing pack. I can fit my compact clutch, card case, camera, phone, lip gloss, chapstick, gum, hand sanitizer. Even with all that it does not bulge. I totally love mine! It is perfect because I have two kids.

The file bags currently on the Japan site are #12553 http://japan.coach.com/content/product.aspx?product_no=10656&category_id=618 and #12431 http://japan.coach.com/content/product.aspx?product_no=10646&category_id=618 I wonder about the thin strap on these, though. Mine has a wider strap so it is very comfortable. I think when I called JAX about these they were $248.

I just remembered there was another larger size...I think it's the magazine bag. I suggest you call the boutique you saw it in, describe it, and ask for the style number. Also, did you know about the price markup? So you might be able to get it cheaper here, through the JAX 800 # or from a boutique. You just need the style number.

Well, actually, they are different than the one you linked to. They were more an "east-west" style, with a flap front. They were both signature khaki color, with either tan or lavender leather trim. One had a single flap (with 1 decorative buckle) covering the inside compartment plus single pocket, and one had a double flap (with 2 decorative buckles) covering the inside compartment, plus a nice divided 2-pocket setup under the flap. I'll call and find out more info... thanks!

Yes, those are the ones!!! Do you know what the other one is called? When you talk about calling "JAX" can you fill me in on how that is done? I'm a newby here... but a LONG TIME coach addict. I have used only Coach purses for at least 20 years, but just found your forum!!! Thanks for all the info!

Alright! We found your bag! :yahoo: I do not know what the other one is called. JAX is the customer service in Jacksonville, Florida. 1-888-262-6224 When you call JAX, give them the style number and they will tell you the name. I hope they can order it for you! I saw today that there is free shipping on orders over $150, ends 8/21 at midnight. Or I've seen on here that boutiques can order for you and you will get free shipping.

I agree on Hawaii. We were in Maui for a week, and stayed next door to Whaler's Village... lots of nice shops within walking distance. Then we moved to Oahu for a week, and stayed at the Ko Olina resort, which is away from Waikiki. We only shopped in Waikiki one day, so I didn't get to shop everywhere I wanted! We actually tried to relax that week. Thanks for all the info.. I'm glad I found you gals!
