Are the hardwares really prone to scratches? or this may be a sign that the bag I bought is not authentic? It has all the signs of being authentic as far as I know. Except that the hardwares now have scratches :(

Hardware scratches. It isn't a sign of not being authentic.

Yep, it's normal as a matter of fact some of them... don't know whether yours is or not but discolor i have feet on my one satchel that have lol the rest of the hardware seems ok though.

With gold it's super noticeable, that is why i prefer other colors... but it looks nice just is prone to scratching.

No discoloration of hardwares as of now. Just scratches. I don't think there is a way to avoid those scratches.
