Coach field tote disappointment

In my quest for a new sturdy reliable cream/white bag, I decided to order the coach field tote 30. It finally arrived and I'm so disappointed.
The size is quite small, the logo font is very reminiscent of the 'bubble style' letters we drew as kids and worst of all is the flimsy leather. The handles are so thin that I feel they will tear after a few uses and the bag leather is thin and floppy.
It is lightweight, but it seems like that's more because of how thin and insubstantial the leather is.
The stitching does look very meticulous and the price was good, but I won't be keeping it.
I also realized I prefer a zipper or some type of closure after spilling my open purse contents into a public bathroom sink lol.

The 30 is 30cmx30cm, if you want something bigger, there's always the 40 which can carry a horse and a hay cart. And the kitchen sink.
The totes come in horse&carriage print as well as solid color leather - I'm not a fan of the mono print either.

Mine is solid with the coach name on it in the center but I dislike the font style and it's a lot more visible than I had thought.
And I find the handle leather very thin and it flipped over brand new out of the box.
If I put in a few items and try to hand carry, it feels to me like it will tear the handles.
The 40 size is definitely too big.
I'm disappointed because all my previous coach bags have been very sturdy and good leather or suede
