Coach Empire Carryall 34 Vs Demellier New York Shoulder (East West Edition)

Ok so I really want an east-west suede bag for everyday/casual use for the upcoming autumnal season and have narrowed it down to the following two:


I have never owned a Coach or Demieller bag, but I am more familiar with the Coach brand so those more familiar & owners of these brands do say what you think.

At first impression I love the parallel lines & shape of the Demellier bag but then also love the symplicity of the Coach bag with no hardware visible.

Would love some opinions as to which east west bag out of these two you would choose or prefer and why?

Never owned a Demellier bag, but the color looks a lot nicer in that picture.
I have seen this color suede in Coach and it's a bit of a lighter brown and doesn't seem like a rich chocolate brown. Personally I'd prefer a darker color

Good point! Just had another look at the Coach suede bag on YouTube and it's more of a tan colour.
