I really love the bag but I work from home so do not need a big bag but then the 26 does not come in the yummy smushy leather.

Yes, I agree. It's why I went with the 40. The 26 just doesn't have the same vibe.
The 40 is without question the one to have and I believe the merlot is the best color of the 4 offered. Wonder if there will be other colorways?
I think merlot is the best color as well. Is it as heavy as the Rogue line?
If you carry a lot it will get heavy. I’d say it’s similar.
I snagged a navy one initially and today I snagged a Merlot!! I couldn’t believe they were available on the website today in all colors!!

Funny story on this Twilly scarf, I’ll make it short but I bought this from Hermes for a navy Hermes bag I used to have that needed some rehab. Sold the bag but loved the Twilly scarf and then used it on 2 different LV bags and it’s finally landed on this gorgeous coach bag. It matches perfectly and you can’t see that it’s Hermes so it works 😂

40 Dk Navy. Maiden voyage! Worth the 4 day wait & the 20 mins it took to unwrap the heifer. 😂💙
Stunning! The unwrapping made me laugh. Don't forget to take out that little sucker that beeps at stores when you least expect it.
😏 You're not kidding! As soon as I pulled mine out of the dust bag and saw all the bits to unwrap, I admired the leather I could see and carefully put her back in for when I can take the time to unwrap her fully 😬!
