Coach Dreamer - questions about leather

My parents are buying me a Coach bag for Christmas. I dont have a Coach store in my state to even look at things in person! I've been looking online and I like the regular size Dreamer in Saddle. But its hard to tell from the pictures - is the leather smooth and soft to touch? or does it have a plastic feel to it?

My other fave is maybe Rogue 25. I have a bunch of coach bags but havent gotten a new one in years except one at the Outlet last November. I know Rogue 25 is pebbled leather, which I like, but I have a bunch of pebbled leather and I was thinking of getting something a bit more flashy. Thank you!!!!

It is hard to explain, but Coach describes it as Smooth Leather, and that is kind of what it is. It is much lighter than the Rogue--not nearly as thick, but it isn't a plastic-y or hard leather. It is just more of a thin, smooth leather. I have the colorblock in black/blue with the rivets, and it is a nice bag. It feels like a nice quality leather and bag.

Thanks. I'm torn. I wish the Rogue 25 came in regular saddle. But they only have light saddle, which I dont like the color of. I usually tend to go for a more slouchy kind of bag

The Dreamer is more slouchy than the Rogue. It is an interesting bag. Even the regular sized Dreamer can hold a lot (and in that case would be less slouchy), or you can put not as much in there and it still holds a decent shape (but makes it look like a smaller bag and is a little more slouchy). So it is kind of whatever size you make it--full and larger or less full and not so large. Whereas the Rogue 25 is simply the shape it is no matter what.

It is the only reason the bag works for me because otherwise the Dreamer would be a bit too large, but since it kind of holds the shape of whatever you put in there, I can use it without my items floating all over the bag.
