Coach Creed Question...

My mother purchased a handbag from the outlet store on New Years and I was admiring her gorgeous bag tonight since she came over for dinner.

I happened to look at the creed and it starts with the letter "I". I've never seen that letter before, so I was wondering if it was a mistake?

I think that means it was made in September...others who know way more than I will chime in though.

I think bigal is right, the letter in the first part I believe is to designate date of manufacture. The "F" in the second part is an MFF bag. It's beautiful whatever the letters mean !

Very odd! As far as I know, the letter I is usually skipped because it looks too much like the number one. This is an error we sometimes see on older bags but never on a newer bag. It's possible Coach has changed their policy and is now using I as a month code.
