looking at this wallet and I really like it- am wondering if anyone here has one and if they like it? Also if it had multiple bill compartments as I like to carry a few checks with me and keep them in a separate compartment from my cash.
Looking to slightly downsize from my large zip around accordion wallet.

Hi, I just got one in Feb and do really like it.
Of course I still stuff it with too many cards so it doesn't close as "slim" as I'd like but it's really nice and easy to organize.
I'll take some pics and post for you.
It def has the space and separate compartments to organize to your preference.

It feels much less bulky & lighter then the accordion style IMO, but I've also been strict on the amount of change I carry as well.
There are so many sections I don't even utilize but there is a space for everything I need.
Like I said, my only complaint is that it doesn't close as compact as I'd like (see first pic) but is certainly not a deal breaker.
I feel this worked for my for "downsizing" without feeling like I'm missing anything.
I hope this helps.

Thank you! That does really help. I think the strap closure might take some getting used to- just like you said. Otherwise it does look like it has a lot of space for bills/cards and checks. I also don't keep change in my wallets and I put it in a separate change pouch or a jar at home so that might help with the bulky feel

I had been looking at one of these as well because the accordion style just seems...odd? to me, for lack of a better term. Far too bulky and not streamlined enough. This one seems to hit all the right points. And that green would be perfect for me as I'm a May baby!

Not yet! (And I apologize for the late reply.) Waiting to see if any of the smaller versions go on sale for the SAS. I have enough cards to fill the big one, but I don't carry them all all the time.

I was torn between the full size and the compact one, bit figured I'd play it safe and get the one which holds everything.
These are 1941 so I'm not sure how easy it will be to score on sale, but if you do find a sale please pass it on. Good luck.

I know I'm resurrecting an old thread (I'm new here and going through the archives), but what I love best about this wallet is being able to pull my debit card out without having to open my wallet. I've always carried an accordian style and was used to the vast amount of space and security of the zipper, but it took less than a day for me to get used to the strap. I don't think I'd ever go back now; the accordian style just takes too much space.

If you put your most used card in the slot near the end of the wallet, you can pull it out without ever having to take the wallet out of your purse.

A lot of people like these kinds of wallets for that same reason. I prefer an envelope style of wallet and the accordian style, but everyone's different which is why they make different styles of wallets. I don't even zip my accordian wallets anymore and can just reach in and get what I need without taking my wallet out. I carry larger totes a lot now so the size usually isn't an issue, but when it is, I use a regular size envelope style or one of Coach's soft wallets that have enough card slots.

That's why I carried accordion wallets for years. I left them open in my bag and never had to take the wallet out to get anything. Now I put my most used cards in a card case or mini skinny (I'm currently using the Pacman men's version that is a little bigger than a normal mini skinny). The card case fits inside one of the open pockets of my purses and I can just slide out whichever card I need. My cash and other cards are in a soft wallet. I still have a couple accordion wallets but I haven't used them in awhile because then I could only carry my bigger bags.

It never even occurred to me to leave them open; I stuffed them full of receipts and never bothered to empty them until I basically had trouble closing the zipper. Same thing I did with larger cosmetics case; if I have room to add more lippies, a blush or two...why not?

For me, downsizing somewhat is better. The half trifold size is great for travel or if I'm out for the day, but I need the full slim trifold on a day to day basis. A smaller cosmetics bag is also better. I don't need all I was carrying, but I had room for it.
