Hi Bbags experts -- I use to be a guru in 2007 2008 - but haven't bought one in a few years...since they switched to agneau leather.

I now realized I desperately want a clutch and eyeing them now.

Experts -- what is the difference between the flat clutch vs. the handle?
Is the flat clutch discontinued?
Do they still make the flat clutch with the giant hardware?

What is this one:

Thanks so much!!!

Thanks for the info! Lovely clutches you have there!! Love em!!
So is the flat clutch now called the "Classic Handle"??

Thanks ladies.. just so confused.

Thank you!
I'd say they are completely the same except for the little leather strap that the handle is fastened to. On the old Flat Clutch, the leather strap was fastened to the bag itself and only the strap + ring could move.
On the Handle Clutch, the little leather strap is fastened to the bag with a stud and can actually turn. Does that make any sense?
It's a bit difficult to explain ;)

Other than that, they're the same except for the difference in hardware of course.
The Handle Clutch also comes with the (small/new/G12) hardware.

Btw, I think the Flat Clutch was always called the Handle Clutch. The name Flat Clutch comes from tPF, I think.
