Too Juicy For You...

I have very fine hair and although I am happy with the length, I would like some volume in it. I have tried many thickening products and blow drying techniques and yet nothing makes any difference.

I am debating on buying some clip in hair extensions. I figured I'd go for the clip in variety as they would be better for my hair than bonded ones. I also want to make sure that the ones I buy are good quality.

Can anyone who has used the clip in extensions tell me if they are good for making the hair look thicker? Do they look natural? and are they easy to use?

oh my cousin got some. the set was about 120? she uses them probably a couple of times each week. her hair is about shoulder length but thin and flat. she brought them to her hair dresser who showed her how to clip them in. he even cut her hair and the enxtensions so it would look super natural. then he dyed it to match her hair with highlights and stuff. its REALLY cool.

she loves them now and she washes them once in awhile with baby shampoo. they only reason she got them was for her friends wedding so she could put her hair up.

I have some & use them when I go out. They definetely make your hair look thicker. As long as the color matches your current hair & you don't go overboard they look natural. You can buy real or synthetic hair but I totally recommend real hair

I would recommend asking your stylist first whether s/he thinks they would be right for you. Putting them in, taking them out, teasing, etc all put stress on your hair, which might or might not be significant.

Every head is different, and your stylist knows yours best!

I had professional hair extensions done once, they were £500 and they were terrible!

Since then I have always done it myself and used clip in extensions, they're great! I've tried a few, but my fave ones are some i got from the market in Leeds for £25, they were a true bargain because i still wear them now!

I bought a little "extension" type thingy at Ulta a couple weeks ago. It was actually like a scrunchy made of hair. (Sounds weird, I know, but check it out...)

Whenever I'm sporting "second day" hair, I just pull it up in a messy pony/bun, and then wrap the hair thing around it. It matches my natural hair perfectly, and makes my up-do look big and beautiful!

Whenever I wear it, the other gals at work ask me if I'm going out on a date! :roflmfao: (Hah, I wish!) Nobody seems to have a clue it's fake.

you could try some volumizing mousse or shampoo...
usually those clip in things dont perfectly match the hair,
so they can be very noticeable! maybe go to the hair salon, and have them do a volumizing treatment.
