I don’t own any clemence leather and am considering a B25 in it. Will clemence leather slouch in a small size like B25? Also does clemence leather blister in the rain, I have read conflicting reports. Thanks so much!

I have a Clemence B25 SO but only received it a few months ago so I cannot speak to long term effects. However, while it does feel slightly more pliable than my Togo B25s, it is also thicker and has no slouch whatsoever so far. It is definitively more rigidly shaped than my swift B25. All the SAs assured me when I was debating it for the SO that it wouldn’t slouch since it is such a small size. Time will tell.

I have an almost 2 year old B30 in clemence and it has not slouched so far. It still stands up on its own without an insert. I actually don't think that it will slouch to a point of not being able to stand up.
I have a Lindy in clemence that had been rained on. I just wiped it dry and still looks pristine. I am actually loving clemence more and more.

Hi dear! I have B30 SO that is 4 years old. No slouch whatsoever and certainly no blistering in rain (although I can't say what would happen to ANY leather in a down pour). It's just like togo, but thicker (slightly heavier) with larger grains.

I have a b35 in Clemence that is over 25 years old. My mother used it for a few years before giving it to me. I used it as my work horse and travel bag for probably 10 years including stuffing it under the seat in planes and it shows a bit of slouch when it sits totally empty. My 11 year old b30 Clemence shows no slouch at all. I Haven’t had a problem with either in the rain but I haven’t gotten either totally soaked. I have wiped them off as soon as possible when they’ve gotten any moisture on them and haven’t seen any blistering. Clemence is a heavy leather and my b35 eventually got too heavy for me which is why I stopped using it daily after about 10 years. But weight should not be a problem in a b25.

Even in 35 my Togo is slightly heavier, but my Clemence is only very slightly slouchier. Not falling down drunk slouchy, just not stiff. I personally would not turn down a B in Clemence. I love that it looks a little more relaxed and sexy. I’ve wiped occasional rain from Ms. Clemence just like Ms. Togo with no issues. Clemence takes color beautifully and feels wonderful. It just depends on the look you’re going for. In a 25 you won’t have to worry about weight one way or another.

I only have a B40 and 35 in Clemence. 40 slouching a lot since first year, 35 slightly slouchy, but still standing (not used as heavily as the B40 though). I also have an Evelyne in Clemence, which has been rained on countless times during the last 5 years and I only wiped it once I got indoors. Didn't always carry am umbrella with me. No blistering or any other damage whatsoever.

Please keep us updated! I just ordered an SO k25 and I picked Clemence due to the only leather that offers bleu zellige.
