I’m on the hunt for a Speedy 25 from my birth year...there’s only one option at the moment but look at the handle tabs - eek. I really don’t mind an overall aged look or a dark, even patina, but that blotchiness really bothers me.
I think I already know the answer, but does anyone know of a way to remove the high-contrast blotches without damaging the stitching? I like restoring things and am pretty careful - but if anyone needs to put me off before I waste my money, please do haha.
