I have a beautiful black Gucci wallet with the piston lock in gunmetal hardware. I’m sure new she was breathtakingly beautiful however over the years and lack of care has left her needing a “hardware lift”. Does anyone know what to use to safely clean gunmetal?

Just use a soft cloth. If there's a built-up of dirt around edges use a soft toothbrush to dislodge. If you need more after, use warm water with a tiny amount of washing-up liquid or clear/white soap, then clean off and then use dry, clean tissue/cloth to dry.

Don't leave the hw wet, not even damp, and don't leave any product on.
Don't use any commercial silver/gold cleaners.
