I did a search on this but couldn't really find anything. I have a pair of Bloch ballet flats from last year that are white, beige, and brown. They are pretty dirty, especially the white parts. Black scuffs and the white just doesn't look bright anymore. Is it safe to wash these shoes? I was thinking of trying to put them in the washing machine on the handwash cycle (it is a LG front loading machine).
As a side note, has anyone had the Blochs resoled? I find the leather soles that comes on these type of ballet flats wears down really quickly. The leather sole is even separating from the shoe on the Blochs in one spot. I must be really rough on shoes! I also have a fairly new pair of Vera Wang Lillians (which I love, by the way!) and the leather sole and heel is getting worn down after only a few weeks of wear. Should I have a cobbler put a rubber sole on the whole bottom??
Thanks!
