Has anyone successfully removed stains from the inside of a light coloured bag lining?

I have seen a valentino bag in Ebay and really want it, but the seller just sent me pictures of the interior and it looks not great, pretty dirty!

I will still buy it if someone can tell me success stories of cleaning inside of their bags?

I always take care of my bags and it frustrates me people spend thousands on bags to handle them badly!

Thanks

Depends on the lining and how it's attached to the bag I have some success with cleaning the lining. Ink stains are the hardest to get rid off. Suede linings are also difficult.
For lipstick stain, I was able to get rid of it by pulling out the polyester lining away from the exterior and then I use Dawn dish soap to clean it. Use a toothbrush to scrub out the stain and then rinse with cold water. Avoid getting any water onto exterior of bag. Repeat until the stain lessens.

Do you have a picture of it? You can still clean the interior, you just have to be extra careful. What type of stain is it? Or is it just dirt. Some times you have to try several methods. Last resort, you can always hid the stain with a bag insert/organizer.
if you really want the bag and it's a great price then it may be worth buying.

What do you think?

If I buy a bag liner just worried about reselling it. Who else would want a bag messed up inside like this and it's the fact that it's someone else's dirt lol

If the price is really good (at least 60% discount) and I really love the bag, then I'll probably buy it. I'm not familiar with what material is used in this bag or the type of stain so you need to decide. It looks like it may be make up or lipstick.

Ok thanks. I have it at 70% discount so yes it is a good deal. Seller tells me its makeup so I have requested a quote from handbag cleaning website and hopefully can make it (almost) look new! I do love the bag so willing to take the risk. Thanks for your help x
