Cleaning alcantara lining

I've purchased a pre-loved bag, not received it yet from the 2006 denim range with the gold alcantara lining, the bag seems in great condition apart from a couple of small pen marks on like interior lining.
Has anyone had any luck cleaning alcantara, removing pen/ink marks?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated

Alcantara is 100% synthetic so you should be able to clean it one way or another. Pen marks are always the hardest to get rid of though! Good luck.

The risk you will face when trying to remove the ink is that you will just spread the stain and if you use something too strong you could end up lifting the colour from the lining.
