Cleaned fabric of zippy coin!

Hi all, I have been doing some reading about cleaning the fabric next to my zipper for my zippy coin purse (I have one in epi piment). I used vanish and an old tooth brush and I am impressed with the result! It wasn't as hard as I anticipated either. The grime came right off!

The grime is pretty gross and stinky with the oxidization:

It's a stain remover for clothes, and your clothes wouldn't lose color. I tried it in a corner a few months ago and no color was lost. I also tried it on many of my kids clothes and no lost color. I tried it all around the zipper today and I'm so happy with the result!

It was so dirty before!

Wow! I can see this being very helpful with wallets/coin pouches that have light fabric around the zipper....like DA. Thanks, great to know!

Thanks for the post! I was just thinking that the zipper on my DA key cles was looking gross.
